Mental Health Consumer Advocates of Rhode Island is a statewide organization run by
and for adults who have experienced psychiatric symptoms or who receive mental health services.  MHCA/Oasis has been in operation since 1985.

Our members have much to offer

Members of MHCA/Oasis know, from experience, that people who suffer from mental illness have much to offer in ways of time, talent and enthusiasm.  We wholeheartedly invite those who are eager to share their talents to become involved in our organization.

We seek to empower our membership both individually and collectively on issues impacting on their self-interest and recovery.  By speaking with a clear and unified voice, we can foster and encourage a sense of community, compassion and pride.
